Marysville Rock and Gem Club

Established in 1963, with only 39 members, Marysville Rock and Gem Club is one of the fastest growing rock clubs in Washington! With over 300 active members, this club brings together a community of folks from all backrounds in order to explore and share eachother’s intrest and fascination with rock related hobbies, from collecting minerals and fossils, to lapidary arts and silversmithing and so much more! With a lapidary shop available to members, exclusive rockhounding field trips, an active youth program, and a host of other club activities, there are plenty of reasons to join the Marysville Rock Club family!

Cascade Jade

Fairly new on Washington’s Jade scene. Cascade Jade is a rising star, not to be overlooked! Cascade Jade is a local business owned by Sam and Casey, artists living in Lynnwood, WA. They sustainably and ethically source their Jade materials from right here in the Cascade mountain range. They put love and attention into every gem they find, carving each stone into wearable art, in hopes that each piece will be cherished and worn for generations. Ziggy's Jade Creations

Ziggy Robideaux of @ziggysjadecreations is an amazing artist living in Snohomish WA, producing high quality, handmade jewelry. While Ziggy primarily works with local Washington State Jade, she also sources Nephrite and Jadeite from Wyoming, British Columbia, Siberia and Guatemala, bringing a world class variety of Jade materials to her work. As a rock collector from a young age, Ziggy first discovered a passion for Jade in Big Sur California. After finding her first piece of Jade on a beach, while walking with her carver friend, she was hooked. She now spreads her love of Jade by creating unique wearable art, specializing in carved pendants, handcrafted beads, and beautiful dangle earrings, also crafting her own silver earring wires. Highly dedicated to building the local Jade culture and community, Ziggy says; “As an artist, I focus on the kindness and compassion in cultivating relationships with everyone I meet, rather than the tasks of selling jewelry.”

Hounds of the Rock Table

Hounds of the Rock Table is a partnership of local Jade and Gemstone miners, Austin Moya and Timotheus Kester, with a focus on low environmental impact mining. Austin and Timotheus are partners on multiple mining claims in Washington, and specialize in Nephrite Jade and related minerals. Along with procuring their own gemstone materials, These two handcraft a wide range of stone jewelry and other goods, including; chopsticks, knives, dice and other practical use items. Each piece is fashioned to bring out the intrinsic characteristics of the stone and captivate the beauty of its place of origin. Thornton Jade

Blaine Thornton, of Thornton Jade, is a Jade miner and artifact collector in Marysville. After retirement from the military, Blaine worked in taxidermy and acquired an extraordinary collection of animal fossils and casts, including; Cave Bear and Sabertooth Cat Skulls, and Mammoth tusk. His passion for these ancient wonders brought him into the world of human artifacts. After discovering an authentic PNW native american artifact made of Jade, he was lured into a whole new fascination! Blaine specializes in the unique Jade found along the Nooksack River, often composing the raw pieces into beautiful polished specimen that would stun any Jade enthusiast!

C's of Three

C’s of Three is owned and operated by Cassandra J., in Everett, WA.
Cassandra has a career background teaching students with learning disabilities, gifted students, and all those in between. She also worked as a leader of schools and educational programs. For nearly two decades, she has cultivated the knowledge and skills to offer services as a metaphysical practitioner. Cassandra’s services include Life Coaching, Tarot Readings, Birth/Astrology Charts, Chakra & Energy Alignment, and more. She also provides and array of healing crystals and minerals, jewelry, and produces a variety of natural wellness products such as aroma therapy, candles, soaps, and skin creams. Cassandra takes her work very seriously, with an understanding that your health, healing, and spirit are important and deserving of the utmost care. C’s of Three makes appearances at local markets and events around western Washington. The Reiki Room

The Reiki Room is a business offering alternative and holistic health services, owned by Jessica and Jeremy Niethamer, and operating out of Everett and Marysville WA.
Jess, an Energy and Light Worker, performs Reiki healing sessions, tarot & oracle readings, as well as producing handmade candles, soaps and other holistic products. Jeremy and Jess also supply an assortment of rocks, crystals and other metaphysical goods. The Reiki Room is a regular participant in a variety of events including Alchemy Fair and various Rock and Gem shows around the Puget Sound. They also host a display case of treasures for sale at Aurora Antique Pavillion in Edmonds. Cascadian Jade

Cascadian Jade is owned and operated by David Smith of Oak Harbor, WA. Dave Smith runs multiple mining claims around Washington, primarily collecting Nephrite Jade, Various Jaspers, and Rhodonite. Dave also provides mineral exploration and mining services for many Jade claims in Wyoming. Cascadian Jade supplies handmade rustic jewelry, as well as rough stone, botryoidal specimen, ornate suiseki stones and a variety of slab materials. Additionally, Dave carves amazing Jade sculptures that have been displayed at California’s Monterey Bay Jade Festival, including a Salish Tribal style Orca Whale carving that was displayed at this year’s festival. Green Igneous Inc.

Green Igneous Inc is owned and operated by Brandon Grubbs, a stone artist in Marysville, WA. Brandon supplies a variety of Jade items, from rough blocks and slabs, to finished cabochons and bangles. However what really make his work stand out, are his unique, handcrafted knives made from PNW Jade and other materials.

Uncle Nudge

Larry, or “Uncle Nudge” makes rockhounding videos for his YouTube Channel, sometimes creating pendants and other items from his found treasures. Larry’s videos include adventures looking for Jade, Jasper and other gemstones around Washington. He also sources unique wood material from these trips and uses them to craft displays for rock specimen. Larry will be set up with us for Saturday only, so dont miss out!
